End of semester recap!

The end of the semester is finally here! I had so much fun at UofL this semester meeting so many great people and experiencing things I never would have imagined doing had I been at Carolina this semester. This trip was worth it because of all the new adventures I got to do and it helped me become more adventurous and able to try new things in new places. I got to go to a lot of different sporting events and museums and just about everything in between, and I wouldn't change a second of it. Here's a few of the things I did in the past month or so... I went to my first hockey game to see my favorite team in action. I got to see my Nashville Predators play the Buffalo Sabres in Nashville with my uncle! Although we lost, I had such a fun time in such an exciting environment and great city. My friend Madison and I ventured to Clarksville, IN to see the Falls of the Ohio. The water levels were pretty high following some flooding so we could not go onto the rocks, but it

Entry 2: Getting close to Spring Break!

It's almost time for one of the most awaited parts of the semester...Spring Break! The past couple of weeks have been nothing short of amazing. With the weather becoming a little more desirable, I have been able to attend a few Louisville Cardinals games so far, and I definitely plan on going to several more.  I've had a few great opportunities to see some people from home since my last blog post. A couple weeks ago, my stepdad came to Louisville and took me to some great restaurants and very cool museums. We went to the Muhammad Ali Center to le

My name is Bailey and I am a sophomore at the University of South Carolina majoring in Sport and Entertainment Management. This semester, I'm taking part in the National Student Exchange program at the University of Louisville. After this semester, I plan on completing an internship this summer and returning to USC come August. I'm a Charlotte native, and this is the first time I've been in this city and this far from the rest of my family, so it feels a little weird being totally on my own. I love going to new places and exploring new things, so it's not a big problem for me.  Today starts my third week of classes here, and it's been pretty great so far! My class schedule works out so that I'm done with classes by 2:15 Monday through Thursday and by 10:50 Friday mornings. The campus is so compact to where I don't have to worry about being late to m
